- Escurrir muy bien las hojas, colocar una cucharada generosa de masa sobre la hoja y formar los tamalitos.
- Cubrir la rejilla de la vaporera con algunas hojas y poner sobre el fuego, cuando suelte el hervor acomodar los tamalitos paraditos sin que queden apretados y permitir que esponjen. Cubrirlos con unas hojas más y tapar la vaporera.
- Cocinar durante 75 minutos aproximadamente, vigilar que no se termine el agua de la vaporera; estarán listos cuando se despeguen solitos de la hoja.
